**General Summary**

Responsible for maintaining the inventory control system for accuracy. This includes all modules, purchasing, inventory, receiving, transfers, and sales. Additional responsibilities include some specific tasks such as electronic device scheduling and experiential (learning activities) management. Also serve as back-up for fulfillment and shipping/receiving activities.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**

- Responsible for procuring materials for stocked inventory and non-stock items. Working with vendors to obtain the best pricing and delivery times.

- Utilizing current ERP system to ensure stock is maintained at appropriate levels.

- Assist and serve as backup for all distribution activities including, but not limited to, fulfillment, shipping, and receiving.

- Stock warehouse shelves with inventory items.

- Item master management including setting up new parts and using the bill of materials / build plan feature to create master build plans.

- Review and reconcile the inventory control module for accuracy in preparation for the end-of-month distribution and financial closing. Including maintaining associated distribution key measurable worksheets.

- Perform basic quality control checks for items delivered to the warehouse. Communicate with receiving personnel and/or vendors regarding any issues.

- Handles the process of reserving, shipping, and receiving of electronic devices (iPads, Laptops, etc.) used for on-site and off-site programs.

- Handles the process of reserving, shipping, and receiving of experiential activities (learning activities) used for on-site and off-site programs.

- Responsible for acquiring and applying a thorough understanding of all shipping/receiving systems including USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc., for both domestic and international shipments. Apply troubleshooting techniques involving any corrective actions for outgoing shipping issues that may delay deliveries and jeopardize program delivery.

**Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**

- Undergraduate degree in related field or professional applicable certifications preferred. Relevant work experience also considered.

- Knowledge of inventory control and purchasing systems gained through prior work experience preferred.

- Experience processing outgoing shipments using selected carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS) software.

- Ability to read, comprehend and follow oral and written instructions.

- Ability to take initiative, follow instructions, adapt quickly to changes, and work independently as well as with a team is essential.

- Experience using a computer to record, access and verify information is required.

- Excellent analytical skills along with a strong and proficient working knowledge of MS Office preferred.

- Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines required.

- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, good communication skills, and be motivated to supply excellent customer service.

- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and other materials. Must be able to lift packages up to 50 lbs.
