About the job Survey CADD Technician

Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Survey CADD Technician with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a Survey CADD Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our surveying projects by utilizing Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software to create detailed technical drawings, maps, and plans based on survey data.

Responsibilities:

1. CADD Drafting: Generate accurate and precise technical drawings, maps, and plans using CADD software, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

2. Survey Data Processing: Work closely with surveyors to interpret and transform field survey data into digital formats for drafting and mapping purposes.

3. Quality Assurance: Review and verify the accuracy of survey data and drafted plans to maintain high-quality standards and minimize errors.

4. Collaboration: Coordinate with surveying teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and incorporate necessary changes into drawings.

5. Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of drawings, revisions, and project-related information.

6. Adherence to Regulations: Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and company procedures in all drafted materials.

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in CADD Software: Strong expertise in using CADD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar programs for drafting and design purposes.

2. Surveying Knowledge: Familiarity with surveying principles, data collection techniques, and the ability to interpret survey data accurately.

3. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to produce accurate and error-free technical drawings and plans.

4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

5. Problem-Solving Abilities: Capability to identify and resolve drafting-related issues and adapt to changing project requirements.

6. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in survey drafting or a related field.

7. Education: A degree or certification in Drafting Technology, Surveying, or a related field is advantageous.
