Scuba.com is seeking a full-time, highly motivated, initiative taking dive professional to join our team in our state of the art, flagship store located in vibrant Costa Mesa, California. Ideal candidates should have experience working with clients within a retail environment, sharing knowledge of scuba, watersports and travel. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable with point of sales systems, actively assisting in the sales process and problem resolution. Scuba.com is looking for a motivated individual who can work independently and thrives as part of a team as well.
**Your Daily Responsibilities will include:**
* Retail sales and consultation
* Support our education department in advising potential students on certification classes
* Merchandise retail stock and displays
* Maintain a clean and organized retail space
* Assist when needed with phone sales and customer chat services
* Dive professionals will have the opportunity to participate in scuba education
* Willing to CREATE THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE ever!
**Qualifications:**
* Strong background and knowledge in scuba gear and equipment, certified Scuba Divers preferred
* A minimum of 1 - 2 years customer service experience
* Ability to lift or maneuver medium to large-sized packages and equipment
* Strong written, verbal skills
* Proven client management
* Proficiency in MS Office programs and a fast learner to newer programs
* Capability to use standard office equipment
* An outgoing personality with the ability to earn trust and confidence with all
