**Location:** Tucson, AZ

**Function:** Under the general supervision of the Inventory Control Manager, oversees inventory management of goods throughout the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona facilities to ensure quality of product and accuracy of inventory is maintained. This includes training and supporting staff on the correct use of our inventory management system, Ceres. * Assist with internal audits of inventory on hand.

* Monitor and verify accuracy of data input into Ceres.

* Monitor and verify the accuracy of the receipted product confirming accurate product description, donor information, case count, weight accuracy and other relevant information.

* Conduct production inspections to verify compliance with program guidelines of packed goods.

* Monitor outgoing orders for accuracy of inventory and correct processing of transactions.

* Verify proper data entry for all departments.

* Assist Inventory Control Manager in support for Ceres users questions, reports requests and issues related to inventory, food donations and distributions.

* Assist in training all new Ceres users (and current users as new procedures develop) related to inventory and food donations. Including maintaining and updating organizational procedures and policies to ensure day to day duties are clear, concise and able to be performed.

* Provide inventory count sheets and create inventory variance reports.

* Responsible for the daily entries of all retail store route donations.

* Create new item cards in Ceres.

* Act as backup support for all departments in Ceres transactions as needed.

* Assist with completion of the monthly inventory reports for the Department of Economic Security (DES) for The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and Commodity Senior Food Program (CSFP) using the required report form.

* Perform related functions as assigned by the Inventory Control Manager or COO.

* Monitor incoming and outbound shipments for product quality and safety following company policy and program policy.

* Monitoring and assurance of Food Safety Written Programs

* GMP and Company Policies

* Sanitizer Concentrations verification

* Equipment Calibrations

* Monitor and report food safety or quality issues to Inventory Control Manager or COO.

* Act as primary response for all recall notices and communication. This includes receiving recall notices from Feeding America, FSIS USDA and FDA, compiling pertinent information to our Be on the Look Out (BOLO) and Recall archive and emailing the recall BOLO group. As well as completing biannual mock recalls and performing needed traceability of products.

* Analytical thinking to be able to draw conclusions from data and situations to create viable solutions while adhering to company policies.

* At least one year of experience in a quality control/assurance position or field.

* Ability to make accurate calculations and measurements.

* Ability to teach others and work with learners of all abilities.

* Preferred knowledge of food safety industry standards.

* Experience in inventory management.

* Able to maintain a high level of accuracy, which demonstrates attention to detail.

* Good self-discipline and ability to work effectively with little supervision.

* Self-motivation and an ability to identify solutions independently and work with minimal supervision.

* A team-player attitude and a good sense of humor.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Experience in general warehouse operations.

* Forklift certification preferred.

* High school education or equivalent.

* Able to comfortably lift and move up to 50 pounds.

* A good driving record and a current and valid Arizona Driver License.

* For company insurance purposes, at least 21 years of age.

* Balancing. Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.

* Stooping. Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist; requires full motion of the lower extremities and back muscles.

* Kneeling. Bending legs at knee to come to a rest of knee or knees.

* Crouching. Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.

* Crawling. Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.

* Reaching. Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

* Standing. Particularly for sustained periods of time.

* Walking. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.

* Pushing. Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to push forward, downward or upward.

* Pulling. Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.

* Lifting. Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position; requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles.

* Fingering. Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.

* Grasping. Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.

* Feeling. Perceiving attributes of objects such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.

* Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which detailed or important instructions must be spoken and conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly and quickly.

* Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.

* Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
