**Project Overview:**

Bechtel Parsons Blue Grass is the systems contractor selected by the Department of Defenses Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives program to design, build, systemize, test, operate, and close a facility to destroy the chemical weapons stockpile at the Blue Grass Army Depot in Richmond, Kentucky. The Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (BGCAPP) will safely destroy 523 tons of mustard and nerve agent in projectiles and rockets. Neutralization followed by supercritical water oxidation is the technology selected by the Department of Defense to destroy the nerve agent, while the Explosive Destruction Technology will be used to destroy the mustard in the Blue Grass chemical weapons stockpile. Candidates for unescorted access to the Chemical Limited Area must successfully clear National Agency Check with Local Check (NACLC). All employees are subject and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment. The ability to obtain/maintain access to the Blue Grass Army Depot is required. Must be physically fit and able to work safely at an operating plant. Eligible applicants must be a US Citizen and successfully go through a government screening process. Based on project goals and objectives, candidates established within our local community are desirable.

**Position Summary:**

The Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (BGCAPP) is looking for Warehouse Specialist at the Richmond, KY site location. This position will report to the Warehouse Manager at the BGCAPP project. This BGAPP position falls under the scope of the McNamara-OHara Service Contract Act of 1965 (SCA). The SCA requires BGCAPP to provide employees with benefits and wages no less than the amounts the Department of Labor has established for the location and classification in which the employee will be working.

This is a long-term assignment with a 4-10s schedule. The work hours are Thursday thru Sunday 6:00pm-4:30am. This position may require additional overtime hours as deemed necessary. BGCAPP operates on a 24/7 schedule. This position may be required to work a schedule of rotating shifts including nights, weekends or holidays.

**Responsibilities:**

Reviews purchase order receiving documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading for accuracy and completeness. Performs count and inspection of arriving material. Ensures receipt documentation is retained and recorded in BPS with permanent material receiving report (MRR). Prepares documentation (Unsatisfactory, Over, Short & Damaged Report) to record unsatisfactory, over, short and damage conditions of materials received and maintains UOS&D Log. Ensures that material is sorted in accordance with the project storage plan and that the location of material in storage is properly reflected on the appropriate storage records (manually or automated). Performs complete or partial inventories as required to validate inventory records. Assists Procurement supervision with the overall responsibility of maintaining custody of project materials. Ensures that issues of material are properly controlled and documented in accordance with project procedures. Takes part in the disposition of surplus project materials as approved by Project Management and directed by Procurement Supervision. Prepares shipping documents and registers in BPS for materials shipped off temporary operating and jobsite locations. Maintains registers to control industrial gases bottle log, returnable reel log, and returnable containers.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

**Basic Qualifications:**

Bachelors degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field from an accredited university OR in lieu of degree, candidate will have six years of related experience. Recent prior experience in warehousing environment to potentially include operating warehouse equipment. Must have the right to work and remain in the United States without work permit sponsorship. Must be able to lift heavy objects (50 lbs.) Must be able to qualify to operate several types of material handling equipment (e.g. Forklifts). Must be able to operate vehicles used to move material Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain any security clearances required for this position according to Army Regulation 50-6 (Chemical Surety).

**Minimum Qualifications:**

Basic business knowledge of receiving goods, inventory management, and issuing material. Basic computer skills for Microsoft office applications and BPS or other material management system. Familiarity with all types of construction equipment, parts and materials Good written communication skills Good organizational skills

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Pri or Bechtel warehouse experience Familiar with the Bechtel Procurement System (BPS) material control functions. Knowledge and understanding of field purchasing functions related to the acquisition of materials on project. Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Previous forklift operator certifications

This project is subject to the Army Regulations (AR50-6 Chemical Surety) which governs persons performing work under the Chemical Personnel Reliability Program (CPRP) and Unescorted Access Program (UAP). Depending on the work performed and the access granted a government security investigation and other physical requirements such as respirators may be mandated. Eligibility to be placed in a CPRP or UAP position requires US citizenship
