In this role, you will learn and be responsible for day-to-day support of the firms IT infrastructure, software, hardware, and technology needs, reporting to the Information Technology Manager and supported by the Director of Information Technology Manager. You will work with fellow JLG staff to troubleshoot and deliver solutions to optimize JLGs business and operations workflow. JLG Architects is seeking a **Technology Support Specialist** that
**- Is organized.** You help maintain a detailed inventory of JLGs IT assets schedule, including IT documents related to software, equipment, budget, and recurring IT issues. **- Is a wiz at setting up equipment.**
**- Knows the secret IT handshake.** You are the person we call when something isnt working, and you press a bunch of keys, blow into the disk drive, and voila! Its fixed. You are familiar with both desktop and server OS (Windows 7, 8.1, Server 2008, Server 2012, Unix/Linux), SQL, Exchange, and basic networking. - **Knows modems and metrics** You document and report on support issues and change management systems to inform technology performance metrics and future advances. - **Is an ultra-efficient problem solver** an always reliable resource in the upkeep, performance, and documentation of JLGs server and network infrastructure.
**A few more attributes of a future JLGer:**- **You are educated and experienced.** You have a bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or related field with a minimum of two years experience in basic computer systems. - **Your communications channels are open.** You have strong oral and written communication skills to support a collaborative teamwork environment and deliver a seamless IT department experience. And you cant resist a good meme in the midst of a Microsoft Teams meeting. - **You are a programmer of productivity.** You know how to use your time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals. You are cool under pressure, and a great problem-solver.
