Overview We are looking for an experienced Material Handler for our 12-Hour NIGHT shift position who will help ensure customer satisfaction and plant efficiency by supporting production and packaging needs throughout the facility. Finish (Job details: Starting Pay: $19.00/Hour (PLUS $2.00/Hr Shift Differential) Job Type: Full-time 12 Hour Day shift: 6:50PM to 7:00AM (2,2,3,2 schedule) Works every other weekend (week 1 Tues, Wed, Sat, and Sun; week 2 Mon, Thurs and Fri) Hiring Bonus: $1,000.00 Referral Bonus: $1,000.00 Bi-Annual Bonus Compensation Benefits: Berry offers three insurance plans. Responsibilities Inspect and package plastic products of good quality. Operate equipment efficiently and safely. Safely utilize basic tools before placing boxes on a pallet. Properly complete all required paperwork. Reads to identify different workorders and writes to make make entries of information required. Ensure accuracy and monitor quality of production runs. Maintain continuous production runs and machine efficiency. Maintain plant cleanliness through daily work-area cleaning and proper scrap placement. Perform additional job duties as required by leadership efficiently and safely. Adhere to all Company and Departmental procedures. Follow all Safety, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP practices. Qualifications Ability to calculate parts requirements, read labels and differentiate boxes Strong organizational skills with ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to stand/walk for 12 consecutive hours. Minimal lifting capabilities of 35 lbs. Ability to work in warehouse setting with heavy machinery High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
