As a Maintenance Electrician you will work under the supervision of the Operations Manager, troubleshooting and repairing plant equipment. You will be expected to perform preventive maintenance and electrical installation of new equipment as needed. In this role you will need to repair any and all electrical problems as they occur on a timely basis and autonomously.

You will need to prove you have experience working on switchgear, instrumentation, running new power sources up to 480v. You will be expected to know how to install new electrical components, conduit, lights, control panels, starter panels and assist in ordering parts needed to complete jobs.

You will also need to troubleshoot and repair problems with scales, VFDs, A/Cs, electronic equipment, and so on.

Having knowledge of properly sizing motors, wiring, breakers, and controls on new and older equipment will be important skills to have. The Client needs someone who is assertive and self-motivated.

The shift is Monday through Friday; however, you also must be able to work overtime and on weekends as required. You can expect to work at least one day during the weekend per month. You will be paid for 4 hours, at time and a half, regardless of the length of time it takes to fix the issue.

Our client has an opening on 1st shift (6am-3pm) and 2nd shift (4pm-1am). Shift starts at 4 and 3rd starts at 11 pm, Monday through Thursday working 9 1/2-hour shifts, plus 8 hours on Fridays. There is also weekend overtime for preventive maintenance and special projects.

$3K sign on bonus, 401k vested day one with match, one month of housing provided while you settle in.
