Job Details
**Primary duties will include (but not limited to)** : * General knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management
* Knowledge of military organizational structure.
* Knowledge of military systems associated with fielding and sustainment of equipment and technical data support.
* Maintains regular onsite work schedule.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* This position performs all warehousing activities, to include, issuing receiving, storing, reconstitution, inventorying, and shipping bulk and individual gear and equipment
* Receiving and unpacking of shipments promptly and accurately.
* Validate that shipment quantities match shipping documentation.
* Accurately store equipment in appropriate bin/locations within warehouse
* Conducts the accurate packing and shipping of equipment.
* Picking customer orders.
* Process customer returns.
* Track inventory using warehouse management system.
* Loading and unloading of equipment as needed.
* Organizing inventory as outlined in the warehouse inventory procedures.
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:**
* Must be detailed-oriented, demonstrate good time-management skills and manage workload with minimal oversight. Understanding of inventory control systems.
* Ability to meet physical requirements, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending and standing for long periods of time.
* Ability to operate a variety of tools, such as stretch wrap and banding equipment.
* Experience using warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
* Experience using Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps and Defense Property Accountability System, Distribution Standard System, MRO Tracking System
* Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
* Proven knowledge of using Warehouse Management System for inventory management and control.
* Proven knowledge of managing workload for multiple warehouse operations.
**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:**
* Bachelor's or HS Diploma w/10 Yrs relevant experience in USMC Logistics, Maintenance Management, and Supply Chain Management operations
