**Corporate Parts Inventory Assistant Piscataway, NJ**

**Responsibilities**

Process and monitor backorders for all divisions/stores for the Piscataway Territory.

Process CAT and Non-CAT stock orders.

Communicate with the CAT distribution center to improve or expedite shipments of backordered parts from various facilities and relay that information to internal and external customers as needed.

Assist in helping customers request or questions on the status of their order (s).

Assist in helping customers at the Parts Office COD window. Includes processing payments for COD orders.

Manage, maintain and close Inventory/Back Order Parts Help Desk requests on a daily basis.

Process inventory corrections as needed.

Process parts orders once credit approval is complete.

Help create new customer accounts in DBS as needed.

**Recommended Qualifications**

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum 2 years of clerical experience and/or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, DBS, DSI, SIS and other position related software.

Previous Caterpillar or industry experience, a plus.
