**Specialist, Inventory WFJ**

In close collaboration with our Boutiques, the Sales team, our local Distribution Center team and the Global teams based in Paris, the inventory specialist for Watches & Fine Jewelry is coordinating the flow of products from Global to our point of sales. Its mission is a key element of the supply chain, by guaranteeing a maximum level of service to all the partners and making sure our products are in the right place at the right time

**What impact you can create at CHANEL:**

Ensure Day to Day Boutique replenishment:

* Responsible for executing replenishment of WFJ merchandise to retail & consignment locations using our local DC inventory.

* Work cross-functionally with multiple teams (Merchandising, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations & Visual)

* Organizing the monthly rebalancing process for Owned and Consigned inventory

Coordinate Transfers & Customer requests:

* Manage special stock requests across US WFJ market (Retail & Wholesale channels) : sold orders, client appointments

* Coordinate the boutiques (Owned & consigned) transfer request process (enforce the rules, arbitrate when necessary)

* Coordinate inventory movements with Retail Operations and local DC for new store opening & events, employee loans

Ensure MBR order fulfillment:

* Assist with Wholesale order fulfillment: in partnership with the Sales team, gather the feedbacks and identify the additional needs of stock that were not anticipated. Fulfill the backlog orders and coordinate with local DC the shipments to MBR partners

Pilot inventory flows with Piscataway and Global teams:

* Collaborate with Piscataway local DC & customs team to pilot replenishment schedules, new product launches, and shipment tracking

* Place and Track the Purchase Orders from the Merchandizing team with Global and Local DC

* Providing support to boutique teams, understand each collections specificity and allocate the right products at the right place at the right time

* Handling multiple distribution channels and understanding the dynamics of each: Retail, Lease, Fashion Retail and Multi Brand Retailers

* Enabling a concise and seamless communication with both external & internal partners

* Being resilient, navigating the pressure of requests by assessing their relevance

**What you will bring to the team...**

* Detail oriented mindset with a strong sense of service

* Systems knowledge (TM1, MMS, Microsoft AX) and ease working closely with IT

* Knowledge in retail math, Microsoft Excel, Power BI

* Experience in Watches / Precious Jewelry and High Jewelry is a plus

**Position Logistics:**

* Minimum of 2 years relevant retail/allocation experience

* Position based in NJ or NY

* How to best manage inventory in a complex environment and a growing business

* How to leverage systems and BI tools to optimize processes and improve efficiency

* Understand the intricacies of a Global Supply Chain

* Be exposed to multiples and enriching environments: boutiques, warehouse and corporate teams
