Orbitel Communications is looking for an energetic person who is willing to work hard and grow with our company. We have an immediate full-time opening for a Warehouse Coordinator. This position is responsible for purchasing and negotiating terms on all materials, CPE, equipment, fiber, etc. They will unload and stock materials including plant supplies, tools, and equipment in the warehouse and for dispatch. The position also requires ensuing all materials are properly received, accounted for, and protected. They will be required to conduct inventories and keep logs to assist in preparing reports. **Responsibilities Include:**
* Order technical operations materials and equipment from designated vendors as directed.
* Issue outside plant, installation and repair equipment/materials to designated field staff and document such issuances
* Record, verify, process, and file inbound shipping/packing receipts to ensure accuracy to orders placed and received
* Prepare inventory for shipments to equipment repair vendors
* Perform inventory counts on equipment and materials on a monthly basis or as otherwise instructed
* Initialize, test, state, and issue daily CPE needs to designated field staff, based on work orders listing CPE and document such issuances
* Maintain needed stock of CPE for lobby issuances by Customer Service Staff
* Process and test returned equipment for reissuance to meet daily CPE needs or for sending to repair
* Interact with proper staff to coordinate setup and tracking of CPE
* Perform other duties as assigned/requested by supervisor to achieve company goals and objectives
**You will need to have:**
* 3 years of CATV or other relevant technical/electronic experience
* Ability to accurately measure distances and weights, using tapes, scales, or other measuring devices
* Ability to differentiate between different sizes and colors of wires/cables
* Ability to work in tight spaces requiring reaching, twisting, and bending
* Ability to adhere to local, federal regulations and company policies
* Ability to drive company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
* Ability to operate appropriate computer or test equipment associated with position
* Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to work while standing 50-70% of the time
* Ability to work with small components and wires to make cable connections
* Knowledge of basic mathematics and electronics
* Knowledge of company products and services
