Production Warehouse Associate
Description With millions of Americans cooking at home, The Spice House is shipping more orders than everand we've been around since 1957. To meet massive demand for premium spices, we need additional staff at our warehouse in Skokie. This is a good place to be in uncertain times. The team is fantastic, the work is fun, and our spices brighten the lives of customers across the country.
Current openings are Full-time or Part-Time positions on the first shift (7AM-3:30PM) and second shift (3:15PM-11:45PM). The Production Center is open Monday-Friday. Pay starting at $15/hour
**Responsibilities and Duties**
Joining our Production Center team means you will be trained in a variety of areas including (but not limited to):
* Packaging spices & blends into bags & jars;
* Labeling bags & jars;
* Performing quality control checks;
* Conducting cycle counts and inventory moves using an electronic handheld device;
* Understanding of the day-to-day warehouse operations regarding logistics, systems and processes in order to meet demand and maintain strict safety standards.
Requirements **Requirements**
* You enjoy working on your feet in a fast-paced environment and you are able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
* Youre excited about beating goals and have a strong attention to detail in order to deliver happiness to our customers!
* You are self-motivated and maintain a clean work environment at all times
* You have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* You take initiative and are always looking to improve processes. Familiarity with and enthusiasm for 5S is a plus.
* You demonstrate a professional and positive demeanor in all situations.
* An enjoyment of food & flavor is a plus!
