Qualifications Certificates/Licenses

High school diploma or equivalent plus two years of college courses or equivalent technical training

Minimum of three years of computer-related experience

Intermediate skills in Windows OS, Apple IOS, Android OS, Server Management, Network Troubleshooting, IP Telephony, Microsoft Office and other district software programs related to the web and networking

Intermediate experience in troubleshooting and hardware repair

Valid Driver's License required

Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Job Goal

Assistive role in maintaining an efficient voice and data network for the district; perform maintenance and troubleshooting duties on the network and other computer office equipment.

Essential Duties

Supporting role in maintaining and repairing the district's network wired and wireless infrastructure.

Supporting role in maintaining and repairing the district's IP Telephony system.

Supporting role in maintaining web content filtering for internal\external access.

Supporting role in administering the districts database\server systems.

Performs routine hardware installations, including laptop computers, desktop computers, printers, monitors, access points and other peripheral equipment.

Receive log and route end-user work order requests.

Provides assistance through telephone or on-site/field consultation and service; provides equipment and software training to district users.

Maintains technical documentation for all district computer\telephony systems including but not limited to: passwords, equipment tags, serial number, and supply inventories.

Manage and installation of all security camera and closed circuit electronic devices.

Assists with maintaining and updating the district web site.

Monitors all access points for wireless phones and laptop computers.

Assists with ordering and receiving parts and supplies for data and voice equipment and office needs.

Maintains a neat and orderly work area.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Occasional stopping, bending and/or lifting items up to 50lbs.
