**Positions exist in such areas as underground, aerial, and cell tower construction, as well as home and business installation, fiber and copper splicing, project management, administrative support, and more**
*North Sky Communications LLC is a full service telecommunications contractor, specializing in building, maintaining, and managing some of the largest upgrades, rebuilds, and new builds along the West Coast. North Sky offers a wide range of services including aerial and underground construction, structured wiring, fiber splicing, cable mining, and engineering for the fiber to the home market.*
The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for assisting in the upkeep of the shop, warehouse and yard. This position also may occasionally fill in on field crews as a construction laborer, as needed. A driver's license is REQUIRED for this position and a commercial driver's license is preferred.
**Warehouse Technician Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):**
* Receive, inspect, store and secure all supplies and materials when delivered.
* Deliver materials to shops and job-sites as needed.
* Set-up a stock issue and control system that will account for and track all materials used in our construction process.
* Maintain all received inventory in an organized and efficient manner.
* Assign and account for all materials issued to work crews on a daily basis.
* Maintain a shelf stock of parts, tools and any other job required supplies.
* Conduct a complete physical inventory each month that will account for all materials stored, received and issued from the warehouse and yard.
* Maintain material usage logs/spreadsheets to comply with our customers usage and tracking systems.
* Communicating professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors
* Actively participating in safety or educational training as required
* Possess a valid Drivers license (class "A" preferred)
* Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.
* Assist field crews as a laborer or operator as needed
* Willingness to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary.
* Must be able to pass background and drug screen.
**Physical Requirements:**
* Standing - 6 to 8 hours daily
* Walking - 6 to 8 hours daily
* Bending/Twisting - 3 to 4 hours daily
* Pushing/Pulling - 3 to 4 hours daily
* Repetitive Motion (grasping, manipulation) - 4 to 6 hours daily
* Lifting (weights up to 100lbs.) - rarely
* Lift & Carry (weights of 50 to 60 lbs.) - regularly / daily
