Harbor Point Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Building and Land Technology (BLT) seeks a summer/early fall seasonal position: Customer Service Representative for the park and dock activities. BLT is a Stamford, Connecticut-based commercial real estate firm specializing in commercial and residential development. BLTs latest project Harbor Point is a growing downtown hub of activity in Stamford, Connecticut. As a Customer Service Representative for the park/docks, you will need to be informative and helpful to all guests and visitors. Candidates must be outgoing and capable of working independently.
Job duties include:
* Act as a host for Harbor Point by engaging with guests and visitors and facilitate positive guest experiences.
* Take and follow direction from management staff
* Ability to work independently, outdoors in a public setting.
* Capable of working in a high-speed environment
* All equipment must be accounted for and maintained by CSR.
* Assist in activities; including, participating when necessary.
* Set up and maintain equipment.
* Responsibly open/close office(s) and game area daily
* Maintaining a daily log(s) and write-up of activities and observations.
* Take photos and videos for marketing purposes.
* Assist boaters and guests equally.
* Trash removal on-site locations.
* Assist in daily chores and light maintenance
Qualifications:
* Candidate is currently pursuing a degree or recent graduate, interested in hospitality, recreational management, communications, education, customer service, or events management.
* Superior communication and interpersonal skills
* Responsible and detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
* Basic Mathematical Skills
* Willingness and desire to learn and get hands dirty.
* Candidate is outgoing, fun, curious, mature, positive, and a self-starter.
* Experience or has a demonstrated interest in customer service, events, recreation, urban affairs, and boating.
* Capable of lifting and carrying 35 lbs +.
* Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
* Flexible schedule: available days, evenings, and weekends, as needed. (Combination)
* A CT boating license is a bonus, not required
* Adequate/Good swimming skills
