**Procurement and Inventory Analyst**

Goldbelly empowers the top food makers around the country to sell their specialty dishes (think deep dish pizza from Chicago, iconic Texas BBQ, etc) to food-lovers nationwide. Consumers know we are the marketplace of the best food you can get in the US. Merchants can use our platform to manage sales, fulfillment, reporting and easily create a new revenue stream. We're constantly solving an incredibly complex problem around perishable shipping from start to endpoints.
The person in this role will work closely with Operations, Finance, and Business Development to ensure packaging strategies meet our consumers and businesses needs. We need someone with strong organization skills to help control, source and manage inventory of our rapidly growing network of custom packaging solutions and marketing materials. This is an opportunity to define and reinvent the perishable food industry, and a passion for doing just that is critical. **What You've Done**
* 1-3 years of work experience
* Strong self-management skills as well as ability to manage upwards
* Experience working with kitchens or food service preferred
* Inventory control and management experience preferred
* Ability to excel in fast-paced environments
* Exceptional organizational skills
* Ability to problem solve and present solutions for decision making
* Strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrated use of data analysis and metrics to drive decision making and continuous improvement
* Ability to engage partners in challenging conversations, while still maintaining and growing the relationship
* Comfortable with programs included in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets/docs/slides & Power Point.
**What Youll do**
* Help source, budget and manage inventory of packaging materials specific to our cold chain and food safety standards and needs.
* Forecast, manage and control inventory of printed marketing materials to ensure that we are meeting our seasonal requirements.
* Work with the design team and operations team to hit targeted deadlines for custom materials
* Help build and manage a distribution network for our custom packaging materials.
* Work closely with our Catering Partners and Chef Partners on location to streamline their operation, ensure processes are followed and all cross functional teams are included.
* Ensure our internally developed packaging guidelines are followed by our partners to ensure freshness and the best customer service.
* Work with our Packaging engineers to research and solve packaging related issues seen across different product categories.
* Work cross functionally with Business Development, Finance, Operations and Design to meet all stakeholders needs
* Be willing to jump in wherever needed. This is a team effort!
