**The Gig**

As the Inventory Control Specialist, you will contribute to the achievement of organizational goals by performing a variety of tasks supporting the manufacturing floor and customer returns. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, demonstrate strong communication skills, manage multiple tasks/priorities daily and have a solid attendance record.

**What Youll Do**

* Receiving

+ Inspect/Audit packing slip PNs/QTYs against shipment & POs, communicate as needed with Procurement

+ Complete receiving entries in MRP, communicate as needed with Procurement/Accounting

+ Match packing slips to POs for downstream processing, reprint open POs

* Inventory Control

+ Facilitate communication with procurement when an inventory purchase is needed

+ Cycle Counts coordinate, document & execute per schedule

+ Serialize equipment, build out assemblies within MRP

+ Labeling equipment with- String, serial # and invoice # for WIP identification

+ Research history for all inventory adjustments before they are transacted (outside of normal cycle counts e.g., negative inventory list)

+ Scrap complete red tags, confirm PNs, stage for disposition/monthly meetings

+ RGA maintain logs, disposition of goods as needed internally/externally

+ Warranty returns maintain logs, disposition of goods as needed internally/externally

* Operations Support

+ Assist with BOM redlines & component substitutions that require Technical Deviation Authorizations (TDAs)

+ Update and maintain check sheets for equipment

+ Communicating part ID changes to parts and tech support staff

* Backups

+ Shipping

* Other duties as assigned

**Physical Requirements**

* Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision

* Required to use hands to handle, or feel

* May sit and stand for prolonged periods of time

* May stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull, or do fine manipulations

* Ability to lift light to medium weight up to 65 lbs.

**What You Need**

* Associates Degree or equivalent experience

* 1-2 years of inventory and mfr. operational experience

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Solid problem-solving skills

* Proven experience to work autonomously with limited guidance

* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and PDF creation software

* Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed
