**Job Summary**
The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for incoming shipments, shipment pickup, checking/verifying contents, quantity and matching against purchase orders. Note any damages and discrepancies and notifying the appropriate party.
Inventory control and tracking. Organize, track and weigh drilling rods and yard clean up.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
* Receive shipments, verify receiving and receipt paperwork, noting any discrepancies
* Organize priority orders and receive such orders in an accurate and timely manner
* Stage inventory which includes unpacking, counting and storing inventory in appropriately labeled containers
* Ability to operate forklift in accordance to safety and operational compliance
* Check in and distribute non-inventory items to appropriate personnel or staging area in timely manner
* Report all receiving issues and information to department leads to avoid delays and quality failures
* Performs cleanup duties to shop, rest rooms, and offices which includes taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping and window cleaning
* Processes and tracks parts that have been delivered/ordered to the warehouse and jobs
* Monitors communications and responds to off-site requests for deliveries
* Monitors and reports any safety related issues as they pertain to the shop/warehouse
* Available to respond to emergency pickup and delivery after hours including nights, weekends and holidays
* Performs other duties as assigned
**Experience/Skills**
* Strong computer skills
* Experience operating sit-down forklifts
* Ability to work individually and as part of a team; professional demeanor
* Attention to detail; highly organized
* Willingness to assist others when requested
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude
* Reliable and punctual
* Ability to lift up to 70 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
* Must have and maintain a clean driving record and possess a valid driver's license
