**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES** include the following:

* Cuts lumber, GluLam Beams, iJoists, LSL & LVL

* Build loads for delivery

* Load and unload lumber and building supplies

* Operates forklift

* Keeps management aware of any delays or discrepancies

* Keeps lumber yard clean, well organized and safe

* Additional duties may be assigned

**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:**

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2 years lumberyard experience related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Forklift certified

* Ability to read/write, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations and business correspondence

* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public

* Mathematical skills and reasoning ability. Ability to define problems; collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS-** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT-** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and requires safety equipment such as protective eyewear, earplugs and safety shoes etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
