Park Customer Service Representative

Location: Buchanan Dam, TX Contract **Jobs Description**

Customer Service Representative will work at the front gate of Black Rock Park and provide customer service to park visitors. This is a part-time position; 3 days/wk; 25 hrs/wk.

**Responsibilities**

* Answer phone, greet park visitors, provide information to visitors on park operations and facility rental, and assist in coordinating park host program.

* Obtain information on customer reservations from Texas Parks and Wildlife Department reservations center.

* Provide customers with facility rental information. Provide tours of facilities available for rent to potential customers as requested. Send rental agreements and park information to customers.

* Explain park regulations and policies to visitors.

* Collect, count and prepare cash and check deposits

* Reconcile credit card and bank statements

* Act as cashier

* Sell merchandise

* Rent cabins and canoes and collects day use fees (including curbside service at front entrance office).

**Qualifications**

* Skill in calculating correct change for cash transactions

* Skill in providing customer service

* Intermediate skill level in office productivity applications (such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.)

* Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision

* Ability to build relationships and foster teamwork
