Support the vision of Foothills Church through managing our facilities and their physical needs.

THE WIN

As

the Facilities Director for Foothills Church, we want you to own the daily maintenance and physical grounds management for our locations. Focusing on supporting the staff, church buildings and church body by stewarding our physical resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We ask this position to do these things:

Planning and managing facility projects: Set-up/Tear-down, routine maintenance, general facility repairs

Weekly set-up for multiple staff, events and services and their environments

Developing and Leading a team of volunteers to accomplish tasks in-house

Be available for emergencies and breakdowns

Accountability and management of landscaping services and focus on extreme stewardship of property

Knowledge and ability to manage online DoorLock, HVAC, Cameras, Room Reservation systems

Work with and keep staff informed of maintenance problems and issues

Communication and updates to Business Manager on project statuses

Perform (or arrange to have completed) minor interior and exterior reapirs on doors, shelving and cabinets, windows, molding, trim and painting

Be bought in to staff culture and supporting all team dynamics

Maintain, repair, and recommend upgrades to the following mechanical systems:

Heating and air conditioning

Plumbing

Electrical system and lighting

Alarm system

Fire alarm and sprinkler systems

Elevator

Keep general storage areas organized and clean and solve storage problems

Purchase needed supplies and equipment within established budgets

Maintain a directory of outside maintenance services for major repairs and maintenance, and develop a process for using these services

Purchase basic tools and equipment for routine maintenance and repairs

On call in case of emergency

Maintain keys and key lists for facility

Facilitate Sunday morning turning on of building systems and golf cart

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Degree

Loves God & cares about making disciples through relational environments.

A partner of FC who is fulfilling their partnership covenant.

Physical health to maintain cleanliness of building: ability to lift or maneuver 50 lbs and operate hand carts

Trustworthiness and references of character

Possess a whatever it takes attitude

Maintains an overall healthy lifestyle physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Organized and detailed.

A positive attitude

A cooperative team spirit

Take pride in keeping the entire church facility clean, safe and in good functioning form

Authentic and growing relationship with Christ

Able to work independently with little or no supervision.

Able to communicate well orally and through written digital communications.

Emotionally mature and possesses a high level of emotional intelligence and problem solving skills.

Able to plan 6-12 months in advance.

EXPECTATIONS

Be a self-starter, but work on a team

Be willing to assist in other environments within the operational team

Operate digitally through platforms like Slack, Asana, and Dropbox
