**Position Summary:**

Responsible for developing commodity strategies, sourcing/negotiations, and interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Work requires a considerable amount of initiative, spend analytics, and ability to drive and execute sourcing.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

* Become a subject matter expert on Coupa, our global indirect purchasing system

* Ability to work effectively cross-functionally and build relationships

* Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines

* Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

* High level of analytical ability required for solving complex sourcing scenarios

* Build cost savings pipeline within respective commodities

* Lead cross-functional sourcing teams from statement of work creation to supplier award

* Create advanced reports to drive purchasing strategies

* Develop and present commodity strategies using PowerPoint

* Driving action plans to completion in a timely manner to support the business

* Demonstrate a high level of customer service to our internal business partners

* Work with internal business partners to forecast spend and identify savings opportunities

* Identify contract expirations and renewals in advance to allow ample time for bidding

* Understand and investigate key market dynamics and commodity trends

* Manage supply base with respect to their ability to provide products and services in accordance with the organizations business requirements, cost parameters, terms and agreements

* Enforce purchasing policy by evaluating requests, ensuring competition and compliance

* Support the resolution of critical supply chain issues and maintain supplier relationships

* Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions

**Education and Qualifications:**

* 2+ years relevant experience and Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain/Purchasing

* Prior experience with negotiations

* Demonstrated ability to solve problems seeking guidance when needed

* Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Experience working in a diverse or cross-functional team

* Manufacturing or technical knowledge (a plus)

**Work Environment/Work Conditions:**

* Professional Office Environment

* Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on manufacturing floor

* Travel to manufacturing facilities or customer locations when required
