**Location:** Bengaluru, IN We are presently looking for an **Assistant Manager Planning** to join our team in Bangalore. As part of this drive, Nielsen Sports Operations is constantly exploring & leveraging practices, processes, tools, and expertise, with a primary focus on building operational capability. We are presently looking for an Assistant manager to handle the below-mentioned Job responsibilities, skills and knowledge required.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Yearly operations capacity and resource planning, optimizing manpower utilization, monthly forecasting of revenue and all cost lines including headcount, capacity optimization, efficiency targets, utilization levels etc., and drive it through Performance reviews and Dashboards.

* Supervise targets/budgets and course corrections against plan Vs actual, function-wise presentation of monthly Financials and key financial levers will be a part of this role

* Review Month close activities for the businesses, help operating leaders to understand the key operational metrics to drive efficiency.

* Derive trends and suggest solutions to the operations manager. Coordinating with operations on all data related to operational metrics.

* Provide Planning support to the business in the short term and long-term planning and implementing the strategy.

* Able to implement effective techniques to bring efficiency in operation to improve the quality of the operations. Actively seeks ways of improving current methods, systems, processes, and structures.

* Lead and develop core planning meetings, with the necessary agenda. Ensure effective planning, common understanding and delivery targets to achieve business and asset requirements.

* Incorporate data generated into the planning system.

* Liaise with various stakeholders or teams to develop plans with a medium-term (Up to 12 week) forward view and associated weekly delivery plan. Identify common Key Deliverables to use in the planning function for each program, communication of plans is key across the business.

* Drive visible performance management, use KPIs to track progress, monitoring actual performance versus plan promoting awareness to drive improvement. Actively seeks ways of improving current methods, systems, processes, and structures.

* To ensure Vendor Management processes are followed and used to rate Vendors and improve service.

* You may analyze all the factors contributing to the organization's costs and find better alternatives

**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**

* Bachelors Degree, planning/ MIS certifications would be added advantage

* 6+ years experience of operation planning involving large scale operations teams.

* Analytical in nature and solution providers for complex issues

* Effective verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.

**PREFERRED SKILLS**

* Proven ability to deliver results from multiple work teams and offices, particularly in matrixed, global organizations.

* Proven ability to engage internal stakeholders and influence business decisions with the right data and insights.

* Capable of leading and facilitating meetings and turning documentation into compelling persuasive presentations.

* Strong interpersonal skills to develop effective relationships with stakeholders across teams.

**DESIRED SKILLS:**

* Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.

* Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience of planning tools and techniques.
