Position Summary:

Since 1989, the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) has awarded more than 1 million allied health certification and credentials. We are committed to helping organizations educate and employ quality professionals who, in turn, help improve the standard of care.

We are searching for a Sales Representative in our NHA business unit, Reporting to the Director of Sales in the Career and Technical Education Division (K12 Education market). The Sales Representative will be responsible for using consultative and value-based sales techniques to understand prospects business needs and recommend additional NHA solutions and products to current clients. Additionally, this position is responsible for prospecting and obtaining new business while cross-selling into strategic existing partners. NHAs B2B prospects and clients are comprised of educational institutions in the secondary and post-secondary career technical education (CTE) market within a designated multi-state territory. Conducting effective, efficient, and professional telephone, email, webinar and social media communications to achieve performance metrics is essential and required. Travel in standard business environment could be 15-25%.

This is a remote position.

Education and Experience:

* Professionally aligns with our company culture:

* A minimum of 2+ years of recent sales experience in education or health care sales with a proven track record of proactively identifying opportunities, creating a sales plan, effectively prioritizing time, and executing on a consultative sales strategy to drive results and consistently achieve quarterly and annual quotas.

* A Bachelors degree in Business, Education, Marketing or a related field.

* Understanding of Health care or education industry a plus.

* Ability to travel to client locations, corporate training, and tradeshows about 10-25% of the time. (Upon Corporate approval to travel.)

Skills and Abilities:

* Develop a strategic territory plan and individual account tactics to effectively penetrate and identify additional business needs with ultimate decision makers to exceed sales quota by creating and communicating the value of certification and credentialing with prospects.

* Current proficiency presenting to small and large group audiences either in-person, via conference call, and/or in web enabled environments using PowerPoint and other technologies. Proficiency is defined as being a clear, concise, error-free, yet persuasive spoken and written communicator.

* Ability to ask the best questions to identify client needs and provide current product solutions by communicating the value of NHA products over the competition.

* Able to obtain agreement from multiple decision makers throughout all stages of the sales cycle and asking for commitment to confirm a sale.

* Ability to successfully collaborate and communicate with team members to ensure strong, positive, and profitable client relations by way of continual support throughout and beyond the sales process.

* Demonstrate a high level of professionalism with colleagues and clients daily.

* Demonstrate a high level of intellectual curiosity, problem solving skills and constant pursuit of knowledge.

* Ability to offer solutions in a productive and professional manner to both clients and team members.

* High level of follow-up with both internally and externally.

* Ability to be self-motivated and driven.

* Basic knowledge using CRM and social media as well as proficiency utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
