**Description**
**Position:** NA Logistics and Inventory Coordinator
**Location:** Rosemont & Libertyville, IL
**Responsibilities:**
This person will have the responsibility to monitor, advise, and lead efforts to support the logistics operation related to NA warehouses and products sold throughout the world.
**Specific Job Functions:**
**Domestic Work**
* Work closely with our domestic 3PL partners & many internal teams.
* Book Outbound Freight: PTL TL & Specialized Equipment.
* Projects: Measure equipment to ship & determine TL equipment required.
* Support and facilitate domestic milk-runs and pool points.
* Obtain freight estimates for Customers.
* Facilitate/Assist in carrier communications to Customers & Customer Service.
* Assist in Claims: Emails, Calls, reconciliation, processing, getting Customer & Corporate money back.
**International & Inventory Work**
* Work with China buying team to track and update US teams and items per container.
* Monitor inbound containers from overseas and provide weekly updates.
* Work with supply planner and help coordinate air freight or other expedited freight as needed.
* Support Customer Service with feedback on urgent inbound or export requirements.
* Support warehouse inventory assignments as needed.
* Assist Logistics Manager & Inventory Director when out of the office along with other duties or special projects as they arise.
**Requirements:**
* Proven experience supporting domestic and international lanes.
* Experience working with a significant number of carriers simultaneously.
* Strong experience with utilization of DRP/MRP systems, SAP knowledge a plus.
* Proven expertise with Excel.
* Problem Solving: Recognize cost, optimization & service issues when they arise and bring solutions.
