To learn more about Berry, visit As a member of our Finance team, the Regional Controller will ensure that reported plant results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. This person will also help improve financial performance by working closely with Plant Management, Operations, Product Line Management, and Sales. Responsibilities Manage plant financial reporting and P&L responsibilities for multiple Berry plants Work closely with Plant Manager & V.P. of Operations for the facilities to identify and measure ways for improving the profitability of the business. Drive improved financial performance by identifying and executing opportunities to increase sales and reduce costs Ensure the facilities are Sarbanes Oxley compliant. Manage annual budget process Capital planning for plant maintenance and cost reduction projects. Understand and implement best practices Complete monthly financial reporting requirements Provide accurate monthly financial forecasts Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience Understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory, and data processing Prior experience with ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards) and MS Office Strong understanding of manufacturing operations desired Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley as related to manufacturing accounting Capability to build/maintain excellent rapport with management staff at each facility Ability to travel as needed We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
