Am-Tran is an employee driven Courier Company based in San Mateo. We provide high quality, on-demand and routed service to our customers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Our company specializes in the safe and reliable transportation of medical specimens and supplies. We keep up with changing technology and best practices in order to provide the best service to our customers.
Customer Service/Dispatcher is responsible for answering incoming calls from our customers, addressing customer inquiries via phone and email, as well as various other clerical duties and dispatching jobs to appropriate drivers. Some driving may be necessary. **Hours are Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights, 8:45pm - 7:15am.**Starting pay is $20.00 per hour.
Duties:
* Answer inbound phone calls in a timely manner
* Enter orders into e-Courier dispatching software
* Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email in a timely manner
* Communicate effectively with customers
* Maintain smooth operations through communication with drivers and other dispatchers
* Provide clerical support as needed
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Driver's License
* 1 year of experience in customer service
* Strong customer service skills
* General geographical knowledge of the Bay Area.
* Organizational skills and attention to detail
* Great communication skills
* Good computer skills including data entry and typing
* Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
