****Your Opportunity****

We are looking for a hardworking and experienced Inventory Specialist to join our IT team in Portland. You will be responsible for IT hardware/software purchasing, hardware shipments, vendor management, inventory monitoring, invoice resolution, expense reports, and auditing assets.

The right candidate for this position has a deep understanding of inventory controls and processes, is able to think critically and pivot in a fast-paced environment, is meticulously organized, and has a passion for technology.

Join a highly productive IT team and provide inventory support to our internal employees worldwide. This role will report directly to the Help Desk Manager in our Portland, OR office.

****What Youll Do****

* Maintain a global asset management system to accurately track and direct the movement and overall lifecycle of company hardware and software assets;

* Ship hardware assets to remote employees and recover assets from terminated employees;

* Perform, coordinate, and oversee inventory cycle counts and audits;

* Analyze excess and obsolete inventory, disposing of assets on a quarterly basis through e-waste vendors;

* Utilize new hire projections and historical trends to forecast future laptop inventory and placing orders for new laptops as needed;

* Create purchase orders in Coupa, ensuring accurate and complete data;

* Provide status updates to approvers and business partners;

* Align with company purchasing guidelines;

* Leverage ticketing software to properly track and document inventory-related requests and to assist the Help Desk team as needed;

* Purchase software licenses and some hardware with a corporate credit card;

* Complete monthly expense reports, ensuring appropriate cost centers are billed for their equipment;

* Cultivate relationships with key partners across functions to achieve business objectives.

****Your Qualifications****

Must-have:

* 2+ years experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume technical environment;

* High level of proficiency in business and collaboration platforms (i.e. Google Apps/Spreadsheets, Excel, etc.);

* Strong interpersonal skills to enforce company guidelines while engaging courteously and respectfully with end users;

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Outstanding analytical & organizational skills, strong attention to detail, ability to develop and communicate inventory findings and recommendations;

* Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management or Business Administration, or relevant experience.

Nice-to-have:

* Currently performing this role at another company;

* Experience working with international customs, vendors, and shipping partners.
