**QC Fresh Graft Inventory Specialist**

Monitors donor release and allograft inventory of fresh grafts to ensure prompt delivery to customers and timely resolution of problems.

**Essential** **Job Functions**

* Acts as liaison between customer and CTS, communicating exceptions and issues identified from recovery to donor shipment.

* Tracks the number of donors received and processed. Ensures the timely release of donors and notifies the customer when the target is not being met.

* Monitors inventory to identify fresh grafts that are at hold status. Investigates and resolves to obtain a final release status promptly.

* Ensures the customer is billed correctly for processing fees (late donor rule out) and credited for recovery cost, if applicable when exceptions occur (sterility failure or other deviation causing grafts to be discarded).

* Manages minor changes requested by customers such as revisions to packaging, labeling, or certificate.

* Monitors and follows through the resolution of the issues found at chart review, processing, data entry, and quality control review; elevates unresolved issues to management when needed.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

**Required**

Bachelors or better in Biology or related field.

**Experience**

**Required**

Bachelors degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Life Sciences, or Biomedical Engineering.

Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.

**Preferred**

Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) certification.

Experience in analyzing process opportunities and developing and implementing strategies for improvement.

Experience in quality control, quality assurance, clinical laboratory, blood/tissue banking, or pharmaceutical/other manufacturing environment.

Knowledge and understanding of GMP requirements and industry standards.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
