MILITARY VETERANS
America's leading rice manufacturer is seeking veterans for their maintenance team.
In this role:
You will be responsible for general facility and equipment maintenance in a highly automated food (rice) manufacturing environment. Your primary responsibility is to troubleshoot and resolve immediate issues, line/factory continuous operations, removal and installation or various mechanical and electrical equipment/components, as well as, performing preventive and repair maintenance to meet operational requirements.
The client is working towards building a bigger bench on the maintenance team, so they can focus on preventative maintenance, and you will be getting the opportunity to put your mark on that process!
Shift: 12 hours; 36 hours first week, 44 the next. Baked in 4 hours of time and a half, plus one three-day weekend per pay period. Shift runs either 4am-4pm or 4pm to 4am.
Skills that will make you successful:
Calling all candidates with mechanical, electrical, or electronic skillsets and a curious mind. The hiring official is looking for candidates with strong mechanical skillsets, and a desire to learn across the board. The company understands that most techs come with a stronger technical ability in one area, and wants someone who can be a switch hitter, and they are willing to train them.
Base salary, a $3K sign on bonus, and a 401k with match that vests on day 1.
