General Function:

  • Provide general assistance as determined by the department.


Responsibilities

Assist the Manufacturing department and its students with various duties in the lab and classroom settings.

Take inventory and report to Pro-Tech on supply needs. Other duties will include cutting materials, organization and cleanup of lab and classroom facility, mail, correspondence, supply delivery, and equipment maintenance.

Student Aide will report to the Pro-Tech for daily instructions, and the Pro-Tech will keep Coordinator informed on activities.

Special projects may also be assigned.

Requirements:

Ability to use a computer to create files/folders, send emails, submit timecards, and print set ups.

Must be able to safely lift at least 40 pounds.

Experience:

Not Required but preferred: Shop experience, Electronics knowledge especially components, Measuring (tape measure)
