**Description**
Cardinal FG Durant, a World Class glass manufacture is currently seeking a Warehouse/Shipping Operator to join our team-based facility. Cardinal FG Durant takes great pride in providing a behavioral based safety environment with a clean atmosphere. This position is a Part-Time to Full-Time 8 hour day shift Monday Friday.
**Position Overview**
This position is primarily responsible for daily shipping, receiving and/or staging of product. You will be working in a cross functional environment with our management team/team leads to meet daily shipping requirements and provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers.
**Essential Job Functions**
* Must be able to operate forklift, hubtex and Rico in a safe fashion.
* Loading trailers and securing loads according to work instructions.
* Must have basic computer skills to enter loads into system.
* Document all shipments.
* Document daily equipment checklists in a timely manner.
* Able to communicate with outside carriers and help accommodate their needs in a timely manner.
* Work with other employees as a team to meet deadlines.
* Must be flexible to schedule changes to accommodate business needs.
* Able to work with little or no supervision.
* Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to multitask
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work safely, effectively and efficiently in a team environment
**Requirements**
* The ability to adhere to the companys policies, rules and regulations, according to the employees handbook and follow work instructions.
* Must be certified in-house on forklift, hubtex and Rico.
* Must maintain a good safety record to operate equipment.
* Maintain area in a clean and orderly fashion by the end of each work day.
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* High School Diploma or equivalent
