**Customer Service Representative Entry Level**

**Training Mon-Fri 9am-5pm for 3+ weeks and then will work a schedule of Mon-Fri 11:30am-8:00pm. This is a remote position, must have high speed internet and a distraction-free workspace.**

**A day in the life of a Customer Service Representative Entry Level at Thorne requires:**

* Becoming thoroughly knowledgeable of the Customer Service Procedures Manuals and maintaining knowledge base on an ongoing basis as procedural changes occur.

* Knowing and following the Customer Service Department policies and procedures and Thorne Research policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

* Working willingly in different areas as assigned.

* Building and maintaining knowledge of Thorne Research product names, codes, and numbers to ensure efficient and accurate order entry.

* Exhibiting good telephone etiquette skills and communicating effectively. Possessing a pleasant, friendly telephone voice and having good rapport with customers.

* Maintaining a professional attitude when under stress, a deadline, or when dealing with a problem, and demonstrate good judgment in doing so.

* Entering orders accurately and quickly with attention to detail and following department procedures and company policy including completing all paperwork fully.

* Understanding, retaining, and utilizing company and product information to assist customers with orders or questions (for example, up-selling a new product, offering an alternative product when the requested product is out of stock, advises customer when close to a discount).

* Taking initiative to consult with CS lead or supervisor on customer issues, taking into consideration applicable Thorne guidelines and the objective to be achieved by offering a solution.

* Demonstrating trust by being consistent in performing work and responsibilities and by completing assigned tasks in a timely and satisfactory manner, without supervision.

**Employment is contingent on satisfactory results from a drug screening, background and reference checks.**

**What You Need:**

* High school diploma

* Prior customer service experience preferred
