Location: Minneapolis, MN
Pay: $40.00 per hour, paid weekly DOQ
Shift: 1st Shift 7am to 3:30pm
Some of the Requirements:
This position requires 4 or more years' experience as a die toolmaker forming dies; semi-permanent dies; and completing layout work. This position must be familiar with short run stamping tooling through progressive dies. Some lifting is required. Experience in metal stamping is required.
Some job duties and responsibilities:
Plans, designs, constructs, or repairs a wide variety of intricate and complicated tools, dies, jigs, gauges, fixtures, to close tolerances.
Performs some difficult development work. Constructs complex units where design is available.
Selects allowances and devises mechanism detail. Does skilled fitting, timing, and adjusting.
Performs difficult tool room machine operations. This includes CAD/KEY, CNC lathe and other technologies (as these technologies exist or arise) required to perform tool room operations.
Works from complicated drawings and sketches. Uses advanced shop mathematics and all types of precision measuring instruments. Requires high degree of experience and trade skill and thorough knowledge of machine shop practice.
