The Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking to hire a Warehouse Coordinator/Driver in the Memphis, TN area.
For over seven decades investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and others have entrusted their electrical construction and maintenance needs to Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot).
Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.
**Job Description**
The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Coordinator/Driver is to coordinate and oversee activities at our warehouse located in Memphis, TN.
* Oversee all shipping and receiving
* Maintain upkeep, cleanliness, and organization of warehouse and surrounding lot
* Receive, inventory and label all incoming material and supplies in a timely fashion
* Comfortable creating processes to improve efficiencies with regards to receiving, shipping and inventory management
* Ability to communicate and coordinate with various operations to plan & arrange pick up & deliveries
* Order, stock and manage an array of PPE
* Effectively communicate with internal and external customers
**Qualifications**
* Valid Class A CDL and medical card required
* Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
* 2-3 warehouse management or similar experience preferred
* 1-2 years experience in the construction and/or electrical industry preferred
* 1-2 years of forklift experience preferred
