**Description**

Essential Functions

* Basic plumbing fixes/repairs

* Smaller project management (pricing, bidding, managing contractors, providing updates)

* miscellaneous facilities repairs

* Basic understanding of HVAC

* Self-starter, needing little supervision

* Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, word, powerpoint)

Additional Responsibilities

* Operate Floor Scrubber at all buildings

* Miscellaneous grounds cleanup and maintenance

* Must have a valid state drivers license and good driving record.

* Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.

* Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Job Qualifications

* Helpful to have a general working knowledge of common office equipment.

* Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing and spreadsheets.

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical Requirements

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

* Employee must exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, 30 lbs. regularly and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

* Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.

* During the winter the employee will be working outdoors and shoveling snow in inclement weather.
