**Team Lead for Grocery**
Lead our Iowa City grocery team and deliver outstanding service and products to our shoppers.

**What You'll Do:**
Train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate team members in the Iowa City store.
Actively engage our shoppers providing exceptional customer service.
Work with outside vendors including local producers and suppliers.
Promote brand and product lines.
Communicate and collaborate with team members and administrative support.
**What We're Looking For:**
Minimum of 3 years in a full-service retail grocery environment as a lead/manager, assistant manager, or senior department staff.
Outstanding merchandising skills with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed New Pioneer product standards (selection and display).
Knowledge of organic, natural, and conventional product standards.
Supervisory experience training, evaluating, directing, documenting.
Ability to read and understand financial statements pertaining to margin and pricing.
Communications skillsgood listener, clear instructions.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands.
Demonstrated ability to follow through on commitments and work as a constructive team member.
**Additional Details**
Position may require regular and extended periods of time working with a variety of packaged and perishable products and inventory control. In addition to general computer, phone, and office requirements, there will be frequent periods of time in walk in coolers as well as bending, lifting, reaching, and merchandising to create and maintain displays on the retail floor.
This position **requires a committed schedule** to include openings, closings, weekends, and holiday shifts on a regular basis.
**This is a full-time position with a benefits package.**
Salary
**$42,000**
negotiable based on experience and tenure
