JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

This position will work with farmers, small businesses, and local governments to identify energy issues and opportunities and help the team design education opportunities to address. The position will work with team members to identify funding opportunities (primarily through DEP) to support our energy extension work. In addition, this position will work with USDA energy grants on farms, update renewable energy maps, and potentially work with DEP orphaned and abandoned wells project. In all of these roles this position will be involved in creating presentations, fact sheets, videos, and social media pieces to contribute to the overall goal of education. This position is part time with flexible hours and will be a hybrid position based at the Crawford County Extension Office, but working remotely.
