Richmond Behavioral Health's Adult Mental Health Division is seeking a qualified Clinician I/II to be a part of our dynamic Mental Health Skill Building Team as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will perform skilled human support and administrative work overseeing and coordinating the Provision of Mental Health Skill Building Services and related work as apparent or assigned. This position will provide training and reinforcement of activities of daily living skills to adult consumers with serious mental illness. Work will be performed under the general supervision of the Program Manager I.
Essential Functions:
Provides day to day oversight and clinical direction to MHSB staff
Directs and coordinates program activities and enforces program policies and procedures.
Maintains communication and relationships with community service providers.
Provides clinical services including intake and ongoing assessments, completion of prior authorizations and some service provision.
Maintains records and tracks staff productivity.
Participates in staff meetings.
Assesses training needs and develops plan to meet those needs in conjunction with program.
Keeps abreast of local resources, attends meetings of local organizations as representatives of the department in explaining programs and services.
Provides supervision in absence of supervisor.

Position Requirements

Education and Experience:
Minimum requirements are a Master's degree in social work, psychology or related field from an accredited college and considerable experience in clinical and administrative supervision over community service programs or equivalent combination of education and experience. The incumbent must be licensed eligible per Virginia state requirements as a LCSW, LPC, LCP, or LMFT.
Qualifying Clinician positions are eligible for a 4K sign on bonus, in accordance with the approved sign on bonus policy.
