This position will be responsible for purchasing materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers. Manages Inventory. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS**
* Create retail product orders based on inventory levels, meet with product representatives to view potential new merchandise, and attend vendor shows. Assist supervisors with service vendor orders, as needed.
* Pull inventory reports to evaluate and correct negatives, conduct cycle counts, and adjust par levels.
* Coordinate with warehouse services to schedule deliveries at retail outlets and prepare the sales floor to be merchandised with new product.
* Aid in the monthly inventory of all equipment and supplies.
* Assist warehouse services with receiving product.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and must be detail oriented.
* Retail inventory and purchasing experience.
* General Microsoft Office Skills
**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
* Received bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or other Business Degree preferred.
* Will accept 2 to 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
* Intermediate personal computer skills including electronic mail, routine database activity and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
