**Vehicle Inventory Coordinator**

at Merchants Auto - Career Opportunities Hooksett, NH Position is responsible for facilitating checking in and checking out of inventory, with the emphasis on reconditioning and coordinating mechanical maintenance through local service facilities. Keeping inventory organized is critical for optimum processing of our transit vans, passenger vehicles, pickup trucks, and more.

***Location:*** Merchants Auto Dealership - 1278 Hooksett Rd in Hooksett, NH

***What Your Day Will Look Like:***

* Check-in new and pre-owned inventory

* Organize inventory on Merchants lot and offsite storage lots

* Coordinate reconditioning of vehicles returned

* Complete condition reports with 3rd party estimated values and provide to administrative team

* Delivery prep & light detail work on daily rental vehicles and outgoing leases

* Coordinate mechanical service on inventory

* Assist with claims processing and work with local body shops

* Assist with plating of inventory

* Assist with processing of any units located in our Hooksett pool inventory (on-site or locally stored inventory)

* Facilitate and/or fix small repairs as needed such as swap knobs, lights, install hub caps, molding, etc.

* Work with sales, service, and vehicle processing team for lot space management (snow removal, cleaning, expected volume)

* Fill in for the Rental & Logistics Specialist

* Receive cross-training to learn and provide back up for additional roles among the team

***The Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:***

* Work will be performed primarily outdoors with a limited amount of indoor work. This will include all 4-seasons in NH and can include working with car fumes, odors, dust, etc.

* Must pass Motor Vehicle Record check and hold a valid drivers license

* Must be able to lift 20 pounds

* Standing/walking for short distances: 75% or entire work shift on hard surfaces

* Operate vehicles on company lots and public roads safely

* Proven experience in managing deadlines and providing feedback to team on trends and customer challenges

* High School diploma

* Valid Drivers License
