What You'll DoAs the painter, you'll assist the maintenance department with any painting needs around hotel property. Other responsibilities will include some general maintenance and electric repairs and installments. Some of your responsibilities include:Build, repair, maintain, and paint all parts of the hotel. Patch and repair drywall, as well as, clean carpets and rugs. Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment, including electrical wiring, and install and replace lighting fixtures and bulbs. Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. Fabricate and repair furniture and fixtures. Attend all scheduled training classes and meetings. Transport heavy boxes and packages within the hotel for maintenance and repairs. Assist in delivery and set-up of all new equipment such as televisions, mattresses, tables, chairs, etc. Communicate with Management and Maintenance Team on projects as assigned. Responds to all guest requests in a timely and personable manner! What You'll Bring1+ years of experience painting, drywall, tile or general maintenance. Hospitality experience is a plus. Sense of pride in providing excellent customer service and the best guest experience possible! Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Differences make a difference.
