Job Purpose

About this Position:
Honda is currently in the process of transforming our business toward the future of electrification. This significant shift will require advanced expertise and leadership from Human Resources to be successful.

The HDMA HR Senior Project Leader will partner closely with the HDMA HR leadership team in addition to AHM HR members to coordinate and execute various initiatives across the HR organization to support HR transformation, engagement, diversity and inclusion. S/he will interface with HR and business leaders at all levels to support HR s strategic vision and execute theme activity. The achievement of HR s future initiatives is integral to elevating all aspects of HR s performance including operational excellence to strategic innovation.



Key Accountabilities

Responsibilities include:
Spearhead and execute projects and business plan activities aligned to HR transformation, organization engagement, diversity and inclusion.
Oversee PDCA process of HR-for-HR projects and business plan activities; monitor the progress against deadlines and milestones.
Collaborate cross-functionally within the HR business unit to ensure alignment of HR-for-HR initiatives with overall business objectives.
Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Act as the main point of contact for HR-for-HR projects and business plan activities
Collaborate with key stakeholders to support certain training & development initiatives for HR.
Champion a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the HR organization.
Regularly review and report on the success metrics of HR-for-HR projects and business plan activities and making recommendations for improvements or strategic shifts.



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Required Work Experience:
6 8 years in related field of experience

Required Education:
Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
Desired Skills:
Working knowledge of key HR functional areas
Networking skills
Excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
Track measures of success and impact using metrics and data analysis
Strong project management skills; Experience in leading large projects
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Ability to self-motivate, prioritize, and work independently (if required)
