Pay Rate: 17.00 - 18.00 depending on experience


Shifts and Hours: Hours will be discussed during phone screen

General Job Functions: The Field Supervisor provide drive-by patrol services to patrol accounts is responsible for working with the MSS, CSMs, Project Managers and/or Site Supervisors in the branch to develop schedules, manage schedules, fill open shifts and oversee the Special Response Officers.

Job Responsibilities specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:



  • Perform day / night site visits to inspect and supervise Security Officers in the field.

  • Address escalation of "after hours" and "cold start" calls to ensure enough coverage at customer sites.

  • Work with Operations Managers to coach, counsel, discipline, train and manage relationships with Security Officers.

  • Field Supervisors will work closely with Operations Managers on a day-to-day basis.

  • Responsible for visiting assigned post locations on a regular basis to conduct post inspections to ensure professional image (including the hygiene and uniform appropriateness of officers) and quality standards are being maintained.

  • Respond to call-offs that occur during the Field Supervisor shift.

  • Identify any personnel problems occurring and forward any such issues to Operations Manager and/or Human Resource Coordinator. Field Supervisor may also be responsible for writing a report of the situation or assisting with an investigation, as directed by Operations Manager or Human Resource Coordinator.

  • May be responsible for administering counseling or disciplinary actions that have been initiated by Operations Manager, Human Resource Coordinator or a policy infraction observed by the Field Supervisor.

  • Distribute information to posts as directed by Branch or Corporate office and/or obtaining signed acknowledgements or other documents and returning such documents to Branch office;

  • Respond to client or site emergencies as they arise, including ensuring appropriate communication to Operations Managers.

  • In the event of an abandoned or open post, Field Supervisor is responsible for identifying available qualified personnel to fill the post as quickly as possible. Field Supervisor may be required to stand post on an as-needed basis for an undefined period.

  • Field Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of all posts within their regional area of responsibility.


Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:



  • 1 year of customer service or security experience preferred. Some college education desirable.

  • Must hold an active security license and possess relevant experience in the contract security industry.

  • Law enforcement and/or military a plus.

  • Experience in scheduling, operations or other functions of security industry a plus.

  • Current state issued drivers license, clean driving record (no points in prior 3 years), and ability to safely operate a Company vehicle required. Pass an intensive Motor Vehicle check to include no infraction of exceeding the posted speed limit by 15 miles per hour or more.

  • Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.

  • This position requires excellent attendance and punctuality. Must be able to work in a very independent environment and ensure all directions and instructions from the branch office are followed consistently and thoroughly.

  • Ability to generate effective and concise reports with neat, legible handwriting and/or electronic Standard Activity Report is required.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

  • Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization and with clients while functioning as a team player required.

  • For commission license, must have level 3 card in hand as well as your own weapon and gear.

  • At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements


General Qualifications to work in physical security at GardaWorld include:



  • Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)

  • Pass an extensive screening process
