JOB DESCRIPTION
Lars Remodeling & Design is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The Accounts Payable Bookkeeper is responsible for working closely with project managers, estimating/purchasing, trade partners, and the accounting manager maintaining company cash flow and building relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive bills and match to existing purchase orders;
- Enter bills or charge backs into accounting system;
- Attain approvals to pay;
- Print and distribute checks on the 1st and the 15th or as needed for special occasions;
- Maintain extra work order and product credit spreadsheet;
- Reconcile product bills & create journal entries by month-end close;
- New trade partner account setup; and
- File and scan documents as needed.
WORK EXPERIENCE- 3+ years bookkeeping experience (required) with focus on construction industry (preferred)
- QuickBooks Enterprise
KEY SKILLS SET- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality;
- Exceptional customer service skills;
- Ability to balance multiple projects;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Be fluent in the English language;
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines;
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance;
- Must be able to work and complete difficult tasks under limited supervision; and
- Be a team player.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $27.50 - $31.25 per hour, based on experience.
