About the Position:
The role Registered Nurse (RN) ICU has shifts available for Day/Night/PRN Shifts that are available. New Graduates are welcome to apply!
Responsibilities:
The hospital has more than 40,000 patient visits annually and is the 2nd busies hospital in Montgomery County. They are the designated stroke hospital with a TPA administration within 45 minutes of arrival. With an 18 Bed ICU we have an average daily census of 8 patients. The Pottstown ICU has prodomonitally all medical cases, but does not have cardiac or trauma. Our ICU has a critical care specialist onsite 24/7 to help with any of your questions. The ICU participates in any rapid response, stem alerts, codes or strokes.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - New Graduate Nurses Encouraged to apply.
- Experience in ICU/Critical Care Preferred
Certification and Licensure
- PA Registered Nurse License
- BLS Preferred (Will receive during orientation period)
- ACLS Preferred (Will receive during orientation period)
- CPI Preferred (Will receive during orientation period)
