Our Vacaville, CA facility is looking for a **Distribution Inventory Specialist** to provide inventory control support in the warehousing, receiving, shipping and cycle counting of all company products. **This is a first shift position working Monday-Friday.** Pacific Cycle delivers some of the biggest names in outdoor recreation such as legendary Bike brands **Schwinn, Mongoose,** and **Kid Trax.** Our culture is as fun and lively as the lifestyle brands we represent where innovative ideas are welcome and customer satisfaction is top priority. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

* Owns the entire life cycle of damaged, misplaced, or missing products from the time the exception is detected to issue resolution

* Uses WMS/ERP and Excel to sort through cycle count data

* Investigates and analyzes inventory transactions and identifies causes of inventory inaccuracies and ensures corrective measures to prevent discrepancies

* Maintains and updates inventory records within designated timeframes

* Accurately reports nonconforming loads/materials as part of the internal corrective action report process

* Assists Operations teams with discrepancies encountered during the shipping and receiving process; communicating discrepancies found to direct manager

* Completes all required paperwork in a legible and timely manner

* Distributes putaway reports to cycle counters

* Provides inventory training to new and existing operations staff

* Oversees the returns process

* Partners with Quality Assurance for inspections and Fulfillment for put away

* Contributes to the success of Pacific Cycle Inc. by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned

**Education & Experience Requirements**

* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required

* 2 years previous inventory control experience

* 1 year previous forklift experience

* Ability to operate basic office equipment

* Proficient in Microsoft Office

* Ability to communicate and work well with people of all levels

* Ability to work well under pressure in fast paced environment

* Warehouse Management Software and data entry experience

* Must be able to work on warehouse floor 8-10 hours a day or more
