**FOCUS:**

To provide non-clinical support to hospital operations by maintaining the facility, stock rooms and treatment areas in an organized, functional status at all times. The Inventory Coordinator is a vital piece of the veterinary team who will oversee inventory levels through purchasing, receiving, stocking, and performing daily audits on supplies. The Inventory Coordinator will oversee all OSHA standards throughout managing stocking, sanitation, and safety equipment. This role will also oversee equipment maintenance and logs, advising hospital leadership when something needs to be repaired or replaced. Responsibilities focus on the basic daily needs of the hospital's organization and functionality, while allowing time to develop and learn the necessary technical aspects of patient care and business management for growth.

**WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT TO DO:**

* General hospital maintenance including, but not limited to: cleaning, laundry, stocking, and inventory.

* Daily, weekly, monthly inventory counts and audits for all hospital product and supply

* Order, receive, and stock inventory orders for the hospital.

* Check weekly for expired stock, monitor product recalls and report accordingly to HM.

* Monitor and audit product turnover, rotation, and expiration date.

* Organize and participate in bi-annual inventory counts.

* Monitor and clearly communicate backordered items with proven exhaustion of all available vendors and resources.

* Develop and maintain contacts for vendors, service reps, and drug reps.

* Daily hospital organization and stocking for treatment area, exam rooms, lobby and stock rooms.

* Oversee all workstations for organization and cleanliness throughout the shift.

* Maintain a log of all invoices according to DEA and regulatory manager.

* Properly maintain drug waste logs in accordance with DEA and regulatory manager.

* Stock and maintain Cubex.

* Organize all stock rooms for clear product location.

* Understand basic medical terminology, abbreviations, and key medical terms.

* Be trained to perform basic aspects of CPR based on RECOVER initiative guidelines.

**WHAT YOU WILL NEED:**

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Flexibility in schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

* Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, work on the floors as well as ability to lift up to 25 kg on own and support up to 40 kg **without assistance.**

* Experience with inventory management a plus!
