**Inventory Control Specialist**
**Department:** 500 Medway Warehouse **Location:** Medway, MA
**SUMMARY Inventory Specialist**
This role is responsible for the management and control of customer-owned inventory. This includes the annual physical inventory, development and implementation of inventory control processes, inventory adjustments, and research. They will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Be able to manage competing priorities, provide sound, logical planning of activities and be a team player.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Develop and manage inventory control processes.
* Perform annual physical inventory and other cycle counts.
* Make and manage inventory adjustments as needed.
* Control movement of inventory within the distribution center (location transfers, etc.)
* Research inventory discrepancies.
* Creation of parts/RMAs/PO, inventory reporting and general receiving overflow
* Prepares written documents for movement of product and special projects.
* Works closely with management on establishing and meeting KPIs.
* Works closely with management and finance department on reporting inventory activity
* Responsible for 3rd party repair facilitations and receipt
* Van stock processing and return receipt
* Other duties may be assigned.
**Qualifications:**
* Previous experience in a warehouse or similar working environment
* Must be detailed oriented Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Good analytical, decision making and independent judgment skills
* Must have leadership skills
* Must be proficient in MS Office Suite as well as possessing good math
* Highly organized; must be able to handle multiple tasks with speed and accuracy
* Must be capable of prioritizing activities and scheduling to obtain effective results
* Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality
* Ability to manage processes
**Education and/or Experience**
* Completion of High School Diploma or GED
* Working knowledge of warehouse operations and functions
**Physical Demands**
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs
* Standing at least 50% of the time
* Pushing, pulling, bending, walking
